Digital Geoscience 2025 by the Geological Society

Taking place on 28-29 October 2025, the Digital Geoscience Conference explores how cutting-edge digital innovations are reshaping geoscience fieldwork across academia and industry. The conference is organised by the Geological Society, the UK’s national association within the European Federation of Geologists (EFG).

Members of the EFG can access 15% off the ‘Digital Geoscience 2025’ conference by virtue of their membership. Simply use the code ‘PARTNER15’ at registration, or contact conference@geolsoc.org.uk.

The Digital Geoscience Conference will touch upon the following themes:
– Advances in digital methods for geoscience data capture and analysis
– Digital/virtual outcrop models and their applications
– Innovative applications of remote sensing, UAVs, and mobile mapping technologies
– Integration and visualisation techniques enhancing geological interpretation
– AI and machine learning approaches in geoscience field data processing
– Digital workflows supporting sustainable resource exploration and environmental management
– Virtual Field Trips and best practices for training
– Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality
