La conferenza si terrà dal 7 al 12 settembre 2026 a Sion, Svizzera.

Conference Geomorphosites 2026 Heritage Geomorphology – 7-12 September 2026

The Working Group on Geomorphosites is one of the oldest IAG Working Groups still active, and 2026 marks the 25 years of its foundation. To celebrate these 25 years of activity and to honor Prof. Mario Panizza, former IAG President who was at the origin of the Working Group, an international conference is organized in Switzerland with the following program: 

7-8 September 2026: Intensive Course on Heritage Geomorphology for Young Geomorphologists
9-10 September 2026: International Conference "Geomorphosites 2026 – Heritage Geomorphology"
11-12 September 2026: Excursions
